Habitat for Humanity of Laredo is excited to announce that Sandra Mendiola Alaniz, who is a veteran Habitat volunteer, has been named Women Build Chairperson for 2025.

  *There is a $25 registration fee that will cover the cost of your hard hat and t-shirt

Schedule:

Tuesday 11/18 – Friday 11/21 8am - 2pm

Registration open to larger groups/businesses *Maximum of 20 per day

Also open to individuals if spots are available

Saturday 11/22  8am - 2 pm

Hard Hats & Heels Event

Wednesday 11/12 6pm - 8pm - Falcon Bank Event Center 7718 McPherson Rd. Bldg D

Women Builders pick up hard hats and t-shirts, sign waivers, pay registration fee, bling out hard hats, network with other women builders

  Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build is an opportunity for local women to help a family realize their dream of home ownership, while acquiring new skills.   Sign up today. Spots are limited and fill up quickly.

 About Habitat:

Our homeownership program is designed to assist low income; first-time homebuyers achieve their dream of homeownership. Homeowners go through a thorough application process and must meet specific requirements. Habitat homes are not free, they are sold to partner homebuyers at no profit and financed with affordable, ZERO interest loans. We are only able to keep the homes affordable thanks to the dedicated volunteers who come out to help us daily.
